The POLAR-UV technology
The POLAR-UV Bridge reflectors are provided with special mirrors which fully reflect the UV-radiation, but absorb infrared radiation. Thereby, the infrared radiation is directed into the reflector body.
The reflector body is now due to cooling air or cooling water (optional) so cooled that the thermal energy is removed and the reflector itself emits no heat radiation.
In conjunction with special UV-BULB Design and the optional Heat-EX system, this results in the optimal reduction of direct IR radiation or indirect heat conduction to the substrate. As a result, material distortion, material damage and crack avoidance be achieved to a considerable extent, with, at the same time, enormously high UV doses of 3000 mJ / cm² and more!

Recent example from our series of tests:
Material: 120 mµ Polyester Film
UV-Dose: 3000 mJ/cm²
UV-Dryer: UV-Star² POLAR-UV
The upper part is the Polyester Film with a UV-Dosage of 3000 mJ/cm² with POLAR-UV.
The lower part is the Polyester Film WITHOUT POLAR-UV, thus with conventional UV Dryer!
