Increasingly specialized application areas demand technically flexible and complex solutions.
Therefore, the UV-NOVA-Pro series is not only offered with mercury burners (Hg burners), but also with so-called UV-NOVA-Pro bulbs "doped" burners.
Gallium-doped (Ga-doped) and iron-doped (Fe-doped) bulbs are available as standard.
Since our bulbs are designed and manufactured in our own bulb factory, mixed spectra can also be combined and thus enable optimum adaptation of the UV system to the requirements.

The energy-saving, electronic ballast (standard) with integrated system control is supplied fully assembled with 5 m mains cable. The electronic ballast enables infinitely variable UV control in the 30-100% range! The use of electronic ballasts offers decisive advantages over the conventional transformer choke systems:
- Stepless preselection of the UV output 30 ... 100%.
- Energy saving through power feedback control

- No dark phase in hertz range

New! With touch screen operation and 20 different memory locations!
All UV-NOVA-Pro models can now be optionally equipped with SIEMENS touch-screen operation. State-of-the-art electronics enable the display input of all relevant operating parameters and their storage in 20 different memory locations (programs).
These programs can, for example, be assigned to a specific drying task (UV ink type, layer thickness, substrate, etc.) and can be called up at any time depending on the order.
The UV output can be continuously preselected from 30-100% in the display and, if desired, stored with a memory location number for future use.
All relevant messages and displays are displayed in plain text on the touch screen display.
The SIEMENS Simatic Panel TOUCH in conjunction with the Siemens PLC ensures optimum compatibility and reliability!
The SIEMENS Simatic Panel TOUCH provides information on all operation-relevant parameters! Bulb age, change rhythm, etc. can be called up by touch.
Operating states are displayed graphically.
POLAR-UV! Optionally available for all UV-NOVA-Pro models!
The answer for UV curing on heat-sensitive materials! With POLAR-UV, large UV doses (3000mJ/cm² and more) can be realised with extremely reduced infrared input at the same time!
The POLAR-UV technology (optional)
In the POLAR-UV bridge, the reflectors are equipped with special mirrors which reflect the UV radiation to its full extent, but absorb the infrared radiation. This directs the IR radiation into the reflector body.
The reflector body is now cooled by cooling air or cooling water (optional) so that the heat energy is dissipated and the reflector itself no longer emits any heat radiation.
In combination with the optional Heat-EX system, this results in the optimum reduction of direct IR radiation or indirect heat conduction to the substrate. This results in material distortion, material damage and crack prevention to a considerable extent, at the same time as enormously high UV doses of 3000 mJ/cm² and more. The Heat-EX system additionally ensures a considerable reduction of dust exposure on the printing substrate through guided, contactless air movement.!

Options
HEAT-EX is an air-cooled quartz glass tube system which dissipates the heat of the IR radiation.
With this option, even temperature-sensitive materials such as PVC films, light papers or special lacquers can be processed without extreme thermal loads.
As the IR heat dissipation is separated from the bulbs cooling, the service life of the UV bulbs is increased!
